We have a variety of payment options to make our programming more accessible to students. You can purchase your program or classes in full off our website. Our programs are based on your schedule- you can take as long as you need. We estimate that on average, our students get through their first demo in three to five months. However, we recommend that you take a complement of continuing courses that will further your development.

When you become a VOLA member, you will have an education advisor assigned to you who will take you through every step of the process. They will work with you to find a coach that fits your learning style, specializes in the areas of voice over you want to conquer, and one whose schedule works well with yours.

A voice over demo reel is a recording that compiles several short clips representative of  your vocal performance in a given genre (examples: narration, commercial, animation, audiobooks, etc.). In order to succeed as a voice over Artist, you will need an industry standard demo reel. Casting directors, agents, and producers will not take you seriously if you do not have one. This is a competitive industry; a demo reel from VOLA stands out from the others,and will start your career off on the right foot.

Absolutely! Most voice over is done from a home studio these days, and without one you will keep yourself from being truly competitive in this industry. VOLA has made this simple with VOLA Remote, our ready to go, standalone system. We’ve done all the tech so you can focus on your art!  This system is included in our Artist Certification Program or can be purchased separately.  Optionally, you can put together your own system.

You bet! We offer a range of audio engineering classes designed to show you record and edit on a variety of  home studio software and equipment. In addition, we offer home studio consultations with award winning audio engineers.

Having a relatively up-to-date computer is strongly recommended. Most Macs and PCs made are sufficient to handle any voiceover related requirements.. Voiceover is a technology based business, and it’s important to invest in the necessary equipment.

All you need is a computer, mobile device or tablet that can connect to the internet with an audio interface and microphone. If you need professional home studio help, we have a number of continuing education opportunities that will show you the specialized voice over equipment you will need once you are ready to start your voice over career.

The primary purpose of the VOLA script library is for students to practice their performance technique. We advise against using these scripts, because it is possible that any given piece is already on someone else’s demo, due to the popularity of our librarya. It is important to have unique pieces on your demo to give it the best chance of standing out and getting your voice heard. Students who make a demo with VOLA will receive custom demo scripts created by our coaches and copywriters.

Yes you can!  We have students from all over the world.  All of VOLA’s courses are offered on Zoom from our Hollywood location including our private and group coaching sessions.
