Our recording process is an intense 90-180 minute session with multiple producers on the front end. Phrase by phrase. Sometimes word by word. A variety of creative direction, not just different scripts. Custom copy is produced in advance specifically for your vocal DNA and potential booking demographic. We record 10-20 spots. Only the best ones make it on the reel. Unlike generic VO reels that combine genres, our reels are a unique set of commercial samples tailored to your abilities. That’s what casting directors want.
Our dialogue editorial includes de-click, de-breath, de-plosive, pitch, timing, and pacing adjustments to give you a wider range. We don’t use canned music. Our company has blanket usage agreements from music libraries. Professional music editors adjust each cue to fit the read (speed, pitch, breaks). Right on to the next spot. Repeat. Win. Then it goes to mix. We mix it like a record.
Our reels are properly compressed through a broadcast signal chain. Filter. EQ. Compression. De-ess. Multiband compression. Final brick wall limiter to -13LUFS loudness standard. Punchier than anything else out there. Mono compatibility checked. Digital compression to MP3 checked. QC’d by talent. Delivery is a final hi-res master and an optimized MP3.
